Neurotech Africa,  through its comprehensive Sarufi ambassador program,  has forged partnerships with universities across the Tanzanian country, providing students with hands-on experience with Sarufi AI, a Developer Centric Conversational AI for African Languages.

Sarufi AI Workshops: Empowering Students with Conversational AI

Recently, Neurotech Africa's Sarufi AI ambassadors have been actively engaged in organizing workshops at their respective universities. On November 25, 2023, Sitta Ngwesa, the Sarufi AI ambassador for Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST), spearheaded a workshop for students, delving into the intricacies of chatbot development using Sarufi.

The workshop proved to be a resounding success, with students gaining valuable insights into chatbot design, development, and deployment.

Upcoming Sarufi AI Workshops: A Journey of Continuous Learning

The enthusiasm for Sarufi AI workshops continues to grow, with the upcoming workshops from :

01-  University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). This workshop, which is scheduled for December 2, 2023, will be open to all UDSM students and will cover a comprehensive range of topics, including chatbot design, development, deployment, and integration with communication channels like WhatsApp.

02. Ardhi University (ARU). This workshop, which is scheduled for December 2, 2023, will be open to all ARU students and will cover a comprehensive range of topics, including chatbot design, development, deployment, and integration with communication channels like WhatsApp.

Sarufi University Ambassadors from Ardhi University have developed a WhatsApp chatbot that allows students from Ardhi University to register for upcoming workshops. Simply by texting "Hello" or "Hi" to WhatsApp number +255 689 737 839.
